This is just the best! It is a much healthier take on ice cream. Greek yoghurt naturally contains a very high amount of pro-biotics (much higher than regular yoghurt) and the nuts and seeds add great heart-healthy fats (omega 3). Bananas are loaded with potassium and add sweetness to this desert.
Juice of 1/2 lemon
75g Greek Yoghurt
25g chopped Walnuts or Pistachio nuts
15g chopped Sunflower seeds
A little grated lemon Zest
- Mash the bananas with a fork and quickly mix in the lemon juice to prevent oxidation.
- Stir in the yoghurt, nuts, seeds and lemon zest and spoon into 2 bowls. Serve straight away.
