Turmeric Tea

Benefits
Turmeric, often referred to as 'Liquid Gold', is one of the best things to incorporate in your daily diet. Research proves time and again that it holds very powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-cancer properties. Interesting fact: Okinawa is the island nation with the world's longest average life span of 81.2 years, and this has been linked to the regular quantities of turmeric tea that they consume. Enjoy!
 
Ingredients
4 cups water 
1 Teaspoon Ground Turmeric
Honey, lemon and Ginger to taste

Directions
1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil

2. Add one teaspoon of ground turmeric and reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes
3. Strain through a fine sieve into a cup and add honey and/or lemon/ginger to taste.
