Cabbage is extremely high in Vitamin C and K. The rich red color of red cabbage reflects it concentration of anthocyanin polyphenols, which contribute to red cabbage containing significantly more protective phytonutrients than green cabbage.
Cabbage contains flavonoid compounds that help protect the body from cancer and other diseases. Asparagus is a good source of folate, fiber and protein, all essential for good digestion and immunity.
